Legendary broadcaster Larry King's cause of death has been confirmed as sepsis, likely triggered by a bacterial infection just weeks after he recovered from COVID-19.

King, 87, died on January 23, and his death was not directly related to his hospitalization for COVID-19 in December, according to his death certificate obtained by People.
