Vote For Someone Who Can Bring Dev't & Not One Who Can Speak - George Kwarteng Adenta

George Kwarteng Adenta, a member of the New Patriotic Party NPP’s youth wing has sent a piece of advice to voters and delegates to choose wisely in the upcoming intra-Party primaries and national elections.

George Kwarteng in a Facebook post said delegates and by extension voters must vote for representatives who can bring development to their constituency and not necessarily those who can speak English in parliament.

“Dear delegates vote for someone who can bring development to your constituency not someone who can speak English in parliament!” he wrote.

Too often voters are wowed by candidates who are fluent in the queen’s language and throw about advanced English diction that usually ends up confusing their listeners.

Such people are mostly seen as the quintessential politician who can better represent the constituents in parliament, but it is not always the case that they’re able to lobby to bring development to the constituency to improve the lives of the constituents.
