The Minister of Health, Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye has advised Ghanaians to make a wise decision on December 7.
Ghana goes to the polls to elect a new President between Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia of the governing New Patriotic Party and John Dramani Mahama, flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, and independent candidates, notable names being Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, leader for Movement for Change, and New Force leader, Nana Kwame Bediako.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has been on a rigorous campaign across the nation, moving from home to home and street to street to sell his policies in hope of emerging victor in the elections.
Similarly, John Mahama has been holding meetings explaining why he deserves the presidential seat.
Joining a panel discussion on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" show, Dr. Okoe Boye asked Ghanaians to be vigilant, stressing any candidate who comes to them with promise to end their hardships abruptly is a big liar.
"Any person contesting today whether John Mahama or Bawumia who tells you all your hardships and some of the challenges will be gone tomorrow immediately when he comes to power is lying. Every challenge you see takes deliberate conscious planned activity to stop it", he told host Kwami Sefa Kayi.
He charged the populace to "push our leaders to think" but for him, Dr. Bawumia is the right leader.
"He is about solving problems", he asserted.
