Photos of the grandaughter of Ghana’s first President Osagyefo Doctor Kwame Nkrumah, Princess Fathia, has hit the web. Yesterday, 21st September 2021, happened to be a holiday in Ghana.
The holiday, dubbed Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day, was to celebrate the birthday of Ghana’s first President and leader of the independence struggle, Dr Nkrumah.
Nkrumah fought the colonial government of the United Kingdom and never rested until they were kicked out and Ghana become an independent constitutional republic.
Initially, the holiday was called ‘Founder’s Day’, but the NPP government had it changed to Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day.
A granddaughter of Nkrumah popped up online to celebrate her grandfather. Princess Fathia Nkrumah, named after her grandmother, flooded social media with her photos.
Princess Fathia is a beauty and a perfect representative of the Nkrumah genes.
